Video interview with #cosh17 finalist CHAI 17.04.2018

What we experienced after the CONTENTshift finale:
Kontextlab has been developing terrifically since the CS17 finale. Immediately afterwards, we set up a booth at the industry event known as the Medientagen (Media Days) in Munich and participated in several discussion panels there on the future of media. In Berlin, we were part of the Q Berlin Questions Conference, where we portrayed the programme live in the form of an interactive knowledge map. Shortly after that, the agricultural machine cooperative known as the “Maschinenringe Deutschland” published a knowledge map focusing on “Digitisation in Agriculture”, which we had created for them, including handling all the technical and editorial work. We also launched a number of prototypes together with several companies that had been on the CS jury; at the moment, we are setting up a number of potential collaborations with these new partners. At the beginning of 2018, we published a quick succession of maps in our own magazine “Der Kontext” (“The Context”) focussing on the themes of “Our Daily Bread” and “Migration in Germany”. In March, we were invited to accompany the Bavarian delegation to the SXSW in Austin, Texas, where we were able to present Kontextlab at the German Pavilion and in the German Haus.

We owe the following successes to CONTENTshift:
CS17 gave us a very valuable opportunity to make excellent contacts to the book industry, in particular to specialist publishers. We have already been able to work with many of them to carry out highly promising tests using our knowledge map software.

My tip for all the applicants and finalists involved in #cosh18:
Always stay focused and never give up!
