My Startup and Me
When people ask me what I do for a living I reply:
I have developed a tool similar to iTunes, which enables businesses a branch-specific search for content, photos and videos. They, then, can be licenced and transferred via interface (API) to their website, intranet or business app. This facilitates the daily use of the internet for businesses, supports them with the maintenance of their website and allows new sources of income to be tapped for publishers concerning B2B content licensing.
If I wanted to explain my business model to my grandmother I would say:
With Contiago you are able to find on your florist’s website not only their address and a short introduction but also informative articles about plants, nature and hiking routs. With our help the florist can buy those articles and display them with one click on their website.
My idea will change the content industry because...
…the B2B sector needs urgent help with the automatic maintenance of websites but so far no-one handled this problem properly. This does not only apply for big businesses but for small and mid-sized ones who do not have the capacity or the resources to maintain their website extensively with individual texts etc.
